Many sizes of our mats are not ship-able flat due to over sized shipping restrictions via standard carrier delivery.
We roll all of our vinyl mats to reduce our shipping costs, and also to avoid over sized restrictions.
This allows us to be able to provide our customers with larger sized mats.
Shipping mats flat requires shipping on a pallet via freight carrier. Shipping single quantity mats via freight is usually cost prohibitive.
Once you receive your mat, it will normally flatten within 24-48 hours at room temperature.
Please make sure you understand the best use for your chosen material.

This was a custom oversized mat. I have previously purchased these mats, but they were not oversized.
IMHO these are the best custom mats available for tile floors. They can be sized large enough to have generous freedom of movement, and fit all the way under the desk. They are thick and sturdy enough NOT to feel grout lines on a tile floor. They have a textured surface that helps hide scuffs, and guard against shoe and wheel slippage.
I prefer the optional beveled edge, but on this specific mat the cut of the bevel was a combination of cutting and over heating (smearing) of the plastic. So the edge is clear in the cut areas, and cloudy in the smeared areas.
Additionally, the mat arrived EXTREMELY dirty (think dirty black truck tire) in a beat-up, torn-up box with large staples that abraded the mat.
IMHO the mat should have been wrapped in some type of stretch-wrap to protect it from abrasions and dirt.
Definitely recommended!
